Remembering Decorating, Family, Friends, and Feasts
Yesterday I took down my Christmas Tree and realized how much time and energy went into decorating my house for the holidays. It took a week to pull contents out of storage in my basement. As usual, I did not have an exact plan for decorating each room, but I remember enjoying the process. I shopped locally at the Berle Farm Store, Hoosick Provisions, Small Song, and Wilders Cabinet for more ornaments and dried floral arrangements to add newness and spark to my collections. Little by little, room by room, I fussed and used my creativity to decorate the home that wowed my guests and pleased me. It’s over now, but I wanted to take a moment to pat myself on the back and say a good job! I pulled together my favorite photos to take one last look, to remember this year's wonderful 2021 holiday season filled with family, friends and feasts. Enjoy the tour!
Next year, My Victorian Home Projects will include My Entry Way and My Guest Bathroom.
Right now crown molding is being installed and I have ordered new plumbing fixtures for the guest bathroom. Photos to follow in January.
